On the mixed-color floggers, approximately half of the lashes are either purple or red. AN INTERESTING NOTE: The floggers with colored tails are nestled inside the bulk of the black tails, so that they make a daring flash of color when the flogger is swung (kind of like a fancy pom-pom). When the flogger is hanging motionless it appears to be black, but when it's used, its inside color is revealed dramatically.
